Valentine’s Day as a Market

Based on a survey conducted for the National Retail Federation, spending on Valentine’s Day is expected to be up in 2011 after two down years in 2009 and 2010. For all those in the business of selling flowers, cards, chocolates, champagne, footsie pajamas, and romantic dinners out, here’s hoping the forecast is correct!

Market size: $13.19 and $15.7 Billion respectively.
